The Club offered trial sessions this morning on the Q2 track.

Upon inspection, the track was found to have been inadvertently overwatered overnight as per the scheduled irrigation program.

Track staff worked to resolve the track condition to a suitable standard, which delayed trials. Trials were conducted with participants aware the track was heavy, and full refunds were offered to anyone not wishing to participate.

Earlier this afternoon, QRIC Stewards and QGRC track staff conducted an inspection of the Q2 track. All parties are confident that the track will be in optimal racing condition by the commencement of the Q2 race meeting on Saturday 5 July.
