Q1 Track Maintenance – Monday 16 June

The QGRC advises that track maintenance works will be carried out on the Q1 on Monday 16 June.

A 120mm harrow will be completed.

 

Trial sessions updated

In order to facilitate the track maintenance works on the Q1, the trials schedule for week beginning Monday 16 June has been altered.

There will be trials on the Q Straight instead of the Q1 on Monday 16 June.

Q1 trials will be available on Wednesday 18 June.

Help us keep The Q clean

We have noticed an increasing level of rubbish, such as strapping tape and cigarette butts, around the Trainer’s Carpark and catching pen areas.

There are bins located at the starting boxes adjacent to the catching pens for the disposal of strapping tape and other rubbish items.

While the Trainer’s Carpark is a designated smoking area, we kindly ask that the provided ash tray bins be used for the disposal of cigarettes. There is also a number of rubbish bins in and around the trainer’s carpark for the disposal of general waste.

While we have staff on race days to attend to the designated empty out areas, we ask that participants please clean up after their dog when emptying out in the other areas of The Q. Pick up equipment and bins/buckets are situated in the trainer’s car park area and the adjacent large lawn areas.

We appreciate participants assisting our staff in keeping The Q clean, thank you.
