All licensed participants booking trials acknowledge and agree to The Q Commissioning Trials Terms and Conditions. The QGRC reserve the right to refuse entry to participants breaching these Terms and Conditions and may report the matter to the QRIC.
RQ CONDITIONS OF NOMINATION:
A greyhound nominated for an event at The Q must have successfully trialed out of the starting boxes to the satisfaction of QRIC stewards and/or QGRC officials, at the specific track it is to be nominated for (Q1, Q2 and/or Q Straight). See the RQ Media Release here >
ACCESSING THE Q TRAINERS’ CAR PARK:
- Current entrance for trials is via Gate 1 – the first gate into the Q facility on the left travelling from Yamanto on Ipswich-Boonah Road.
- Take the first right turn available after entering via Gate 1, you will then drive around the Q2 track, and drive towards the Trainer’s Carpark.
- Report to the QGRC employee stationed in the car park upon arrival.
- Ensure you follow directions given by QGRC and site staff.

FINISH ON LURE TRIALS
- Finish on lure trials are now available on the Q1 and Q2.
- Trainers must provide a catcher for a finish on trial to be conducted. NO CATCHER – NO FINISH ON!
- Q1 Finish on trials will finish at the 550m boxes.
- Q2 Finish on trials will finish at the 752m boxes, unless a Box to Box trial.
- NO FINISH ON LURE TRIALS INTO CATCHING PEN.

trial fees & charges
Payments are made via the On The Clock system. Ensure you have sufficient funds in your wallet before booking. No payments taken at trials.

Note: Eligible Club members (Premium Members) receive half price trials.
THE Q COMMISSIONING PERIOD
Commissioning trial sessions will be available to participants free of charge during the commissioning period of each track. Racing Queensland will advise when this commissioning period has been completed for each track and charges will then be at the discretion of the QGRC.
Q1 – commissioning period complete (24/04) – fees applicable from 5 May.
Q2 – commissioning period complete (31/05) – fees applicable from 1 June.
QS – commissioning period – no trial fees.
