The Queensland Greyhound Racing Club (QGRC) advises participants that FKG contractors will be carrying out works to rectify a defect in the grandstand flooring.
As part of this process, the access pathway between the lift and lift stairwell through to the Bistro sliding doors—used by participants moving from the Integrity Area—will be temporarily closed on the following dates:
- Tuesday 10 March – Preparation work
- Wednesday 11 March – Preparation work
- Monday 16 March – Final coating
During this time, access to the Bistro will be available by walking toward the dais on the Q Straight / Q1 side of the building, then using the outside stairs to reach the Q1/QS grandstand level and entering the Bistro from the grandstand.
