The Queensland Greyhound Racing Club advises participants that Racing Queensland has commissioned contractor Oasis to install new shade structures within The Q integrity area, including the empty-out yards.

Construction is scheduled to commence on Monday, 9 November, with works beginning from 6:00am. To minimise disruption, all construction activities will be undertaken outside of racing times, with the contractor required to clear the area before kennelling commences each day.

Participants are asked to limit their use of the integrity area on trial mornings where possible and to exercise caution when moving near the work zone.

The wash-down bays and pool will remain fully operational and unaffected throughout the duration of the project.

The Club will work closely with the contractor to ensure the works are completed safely and efficiently, while minimising impacts on participants and greyhounds.

Works are expected to take approximately 1-2 weeks to complete.
